Frozen the Musical

Frozen The Musical – Disney’s gorgeous global classic

If your children adored the film, they’ll be enthralled by Frozen The Musical, the stage version of the legendary story that has gathered 37 coveted awards including two Academy Awards for best animated feature and best original song for Let It Go. If your kids only see one theatre show this year, make it Frozen. They’ll be totally enchanted, and they will never forget the experience.

What’s the plot of Frozen The Musical?

Frozen the musical tells the same story as the wonderful film. You’ll meet Elsa and Anna, two sisters who live in the imaginary kingdom of Arendelle. Elsa runs away to escape her own magical powers. The story follows Anna as she tries to rescue her sister and convince her to return. You’ll meet a tough iceman, a reindeer, and a friendly snowman, all of whom enjoy the epic journey, sprinkled with icy magic. Can the sisters save their homeland from a winter that lasts forever?

Frozen The Musical features songs written by the husband and wife team, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. It’s stacked with gorgeous original songs from the movie including Do You Want To Build a Snowman, The First Time in Forever, and of course the amazing Let it Go, plus a load more new songs written especially for the stage version. The director is Michael Grandage, and this is the first production to appear on stage at the renovated Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
